Anybody know why Delta discontinued the Sawbuck? This was a great portable saw that I loved to use for siding and especially aluminum sofit.

Anybody have one they want to part with?

Don't know why or when they discontinued it, - - but I wouldn't mind one myself. Seems like it would be hard to find someone wanting to part with one, - - but if I do hear of someone, - - I'll be sure to NOT let you know!! :twisted: :lol:

It will be interesting to see how Delta ends up.

Delta is owned by Porter Cable which just sold out to Black & Decker.

I can tell you that at this point in time trying to get a Delta or Porter Cable part is a major pain in the ass.

Delta just sold out to B&D?!??! When did that happen?
You know, that explains why a person can get a Delta 18v cordless drill at Menards for cheap.
And now Porter Cable is B&D also? Why not. <sigh>
