I am constructing a removable panel that will cover speakers. My problem is that I can't remember what the connectors are called.
Enlarged at the end peg type that fits into a hole and snaps into place.
Someone jog my memory!!

No that isnt it.
The hole has a metal tension spring type fitting so that when the bulb goes in it stays.
This is to hold the panel in place, not anything to do with speaker connections.

Ah, I gotcha. I have no idea what they are though. What about magnets?

I've been googling my butt off and have run across this. This company calls it a tree loc fastener.

The only thing I really dont like about this setup is that it is plastic and doesnt screw in.
Still, this is the concept for what I am seeking.

velcro?
Speaker grill guides are what they are called, when I use to install home audio/video we called them grill snaps. You can order them online from partsexpress.com
