insulated versus solar screens

I have to install new construction nail fin windows with no J channel. First, if anyone has a good window that is not too expensive I would appreciate any recommendations. I live in Orlando, Fl.

Second, my room faces the west and we get a lot of sun against these windows. I want to put of solar screens as I've heard they help alot. If I put of solar screens will insulated windows even help? I am concerned about insulated windows because of the seals tearing, etc. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have solar screens if insulated or low e would be useless then.
