Hello again,
Hopefully this will be the last question for a while. I am attaching a drawing of a roof already done on another house and need to know what the framing looks like at the ends of this roof (the right end will be the same design). The plan is to use 4- 2x6 trusses 2' high at the house side and down to 5 1/2" at the yard end of the patio with a span of 15' total. The length of the patio is 29' so the four trusses will be aprox 8 1/2' apart with 2x6 rafters between them. Can someone please show me a drawing of what needs to be built to carry the overhang 4' to 5' from the last post/truss with out using any major beams or Glu-Lams? Nothing is visible in the above house picture other than the 2x6 facia and the owner says there are no beams or Glu-Lams in the patio cover, just trusses? Really need your help on this one. :?:
