Lead Paint?

We currently are living in a home where the owner had taken old paint that was laying around in peoples barns, yes his own words, and mixed it all together and painted all the floors, which are "Advantech" OSB underlayment.
The paint cans are all in a storage closet.
What do I look for in the label to tell me if they contain Lead?

To start with if there is a date anywhere on it it should be after 1978. Look for materials such as actinium or thorium in the product description. Your best option is to get a lead paint inspection kit and check it... one for 9.99 can be found at..
