how would you figure out trims costs(labor) for an average house?
would you normally break it all down and price cabinets separate, doors separate, and base/trim separate?
or would you just go by the square foot? what's a normal rate for trim labor?

I charge around 5$ LF ( of Course that depends on the trim and difficulty) But for standard install....

can you give me some figures, like how much to hang a door(interior and exterior), and how much for ranch base per foot?
also, how much to install a kitchen set of cabinets, or a bathroom vanity?
and how much to install interior and exterior door locks?
thanks :)

Geez,
GO buy Means remodeling cost book. That will answer all your questions. For basic door hangin ( no chiseling for hinges...) I charge around $75 a door. Ranch would be around 5$lf. Cabinets I tend to charge $25lf ( minimum $150). Locks $50.
