Calculating insulation costs?

Hey, trying to put everything together for the house I want to build. whats the best insulation to use in upstate NY? anyway to calculate the costs? forumulas estimations, anything would be greatly appreciated. also whats the best insulation to use?

I'd get foam sprayed in while the walls are open. Just my preference- good R, vapour-tight, air-tight. No idea what prices would be in your area- get a whack of estimates...
