Bead Board Ceiling

We are puttingin a post and beam "look" in our family room in a new house. We really like the beadboard look. A couple of issues. The area for teh BB starts at 17 ft from the floor and goes to 23 ft at the apex. Any suggestions as to what to use and hints on installation?

Scaffolding. I have used BB a lot for ceilings. I recommend Ash. It is inexpensive and you should be able to get it at a good lumber for under $2lf. I think there is a Wilsons Plywood in Houston.One trick with Beadboard, stain or paint it before you install. THe board will contract over time and you will see all the tongues where there is no paint or stain. Its a real pain to have to go back in a few weeks later and try to get in those grooves. Nail it up like you would a floor using the tongues for nailing. Then you have very little finish out with nail holes....
