Block poured solid with concrete

Hello to all! I am new to this site and I am also new to building my own house. I am going to build a CBS home (2-story) and I am getting different advise on whether to fill all blocks solid with concrete or just some on centers. I will be living on a busy road and my thought was the concrete would help sound proof the house as well as add additional insulation properties. The draw backs?? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
The property is located in Florida on the rim canal of Lake Okeechobee.

If it was my house I'd fill the block solid...I believe it would stand the test of time better...Insulating value is minimal at best
