I just installed two new windows in my place. Now I need window trim. I was thinking maybe buying a few planks of James hardee 4" siding and using that. All I want is white. My house is going to be a pale yellow with white trim when I'm done with it. I like the fiber cement board idea because it won't rot. I don't mind painting it though because it's just trim.
Any suggestions?

Azek trim-boards are made for such applications, - - made of solid PVC, - - white all the way through.

That's what I was thinking. Now I have to find the stuff. I saw a right up about azek a while back. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to chime in late, but Azek is about the most expensive building product I've ever seen. I think we are offering it at $4.25/lf for 5/4x4 corner board.
None for me, thanks.

If its only 2 windlws use Azek or Koma PVC and forget the Hardiplank.
