Light Switch pops sometimes

On occasion, I will turn on a light switch and it will make a slight pop (not loud at all but you can hear it). It doesn't happen all the time, actually it doesn't happen all that often. What causes this? Just curious if this is normal or if its something to be concerned about. Thanks!

Loose wire. Yes, be concerned. The pop is a spark, and can ignite something. It's an easy fix, but something that should be done asap. Are you comfortable doing this yourself (it's not hard/unsafe if done correctly)? Power needs to be cut, and the switch needs to be inspected.
