Is this supposed to be easy? geez it takes forever to get things right , guess i dont really know what I'm doing. Do you really have to keep track of everything?
You really should.. it's in your best interest.

Get an amex. They do a great job of breaking everything down for you. All I have to do is remember I have it and every couple of years I bould up enough points to take a trip.

I dont even have any accounsts yet? highly doubt I'll get a credit card.
If you're going to use Quickbooks I suggest going over to teamcontractor.com and asking questions on the forum. I'm going to be adding a quickbooks specific forum due to some of the complexities of it.
Rich, what about a re-direct link for the contractors, sort of like the other site.:)

Over at JLC forum http://forums.jlconline.com/forums there is a forum on accounting and Quickbooks for anyone interested.
Speaking of JLC forum, you guys don't seem to have much traffic here amongst contractors. Maybe swimming upstream? I think it's really hard to get a forum going, even the one at NAHB is slow and it's a national organization. FHB Breaktime has tremendous traffic, though I prefer JLC.

This forum was never meant to be a contractors forum - more of a DIY and general construction forum. Teamcontractor is one I just setup geared more for contractors.. and like you said - it's hard getting it going.
