I remember reading somewhere that there was a problem at one time with putting treated lumber (window buck boards) directly against concrete. I guess there was some kind of chemical released in to one or the other and caused a problem of some kind.
Can someone tell me if this problem has been fixed ?
Thanks

Well I did some more google searching and I think what I found answers my question. The problem is that the pressure treated lumber had arsenic in it and that there was Not an actual problem with the lumber being in contact with concrete.

PT no longer has arsenic in it as of last year. I am not aware of any issues with PT and concrete. Code specs PT as mudsill so if there were issues it would cause a big hoopla.

Here is one of the issues with the new PT
Fasteners seems to be an issue.
But how serious I'm not sure.
