I am very interested in your article. Hurry Hurry Hurry.
Will you have specific stuff in the article for newbie woodworkers? How about layout techniques or something along those lines.
Can't wait!

Yes.. I will have information geared towards the newbie woodworkers. At current state the changing table has all the wood 4-sided and I am beginning to layout the mortise and tenons. The article will contain pictures and techniques for laying out and design of certain portions... I've run into problems with design already :D

Hi All
Last summer I built a toddler bed for my daughter.
It was a project that will last in my mind forever because I had a part in every single phase of the project. By this i mean I milled the wood, designed the plan and built the piece. Great fun.

Rich you might find these photos interesting. Summer 2002 construction at Chatter Creek BC. http://catskiingbc.com/album/default.asp?dir=Summer%202002
I'm sure that project (toddler bed) will be coming up soon for me :). I had a similar experience with this dresser - milled the "rough wood", designed the plan, built it, and finished it.
Nice pictures... I worked a couple years for a small log mill (softwood) - great experience.
