I am wondering if anyone out there can tell me if they have a palm pilot for keeping track of different jobs. What they recommend for downloads and which palm they use.
I've got the M130 - it does it's job of scheduling appointments and contact list.. an occassional calculator. I haven't used it beyond that.. I made a program to figure cubic yards of concrete for a foundation - just for kicks. I know there are some new HP and Palm units out there that are pretty powerful. Grumpy has a system that I think he just setup that allows him to do estimates and stuff like that... even print to a printer in his truck.

I have a dell axmin running windows pocket pc. there are tons of plug-ins, like a neat one for quickbooks. I like using exell and word and have a IR printer so I can print anything just like being in the office.
Ofcoarse it does all the appointment scheduling and task reminders, keeps voice notes etc...
Yup Rich, once I get the cellular link on my palm, I will be totally wireless.
That's pretty cool Grumpy. In the field I'm pretty traditional with my graph paper and pencil jotting stuff down.. surprising considering my computer background with drafting and web stuff.
