foundation costs?

I am trying to put together the construction budget for my new house. It is my first construction mortgage. I am planning on builing a 2 story 4200 square feet home with open courtyard in the middle. I am located in upstate NY. the dimensions of the house are 73x79. That is counting a 3 car garage which we don't need a foundation for. anyone help me in getting a rough estimate on excavation and foundation costs. I would appreciate any information you can furnish me with.

Then for the slab - take the sf times .35 (a little over 4") and divide by 27. Take that and multiply by the cost of concrete in your area - 80-100+ then multiply by 3. Should be a pretty close guess.
