Hi All:
I am in the process of installing the windows for a house I am building. The windows are Bonneville double hung nail fin windows. I am shimming the sides to tighten up the window so I have the same clearence between the window and the frame from top to botton.
I am not sure if I should drive a screw through the window frame through the shims and into the wood or just let the shims sit there and leave it alone.
The shims are not loose nor are they really tight.
