I am putting in new windows in a new home and was wanting to know if someone could tell me whether Vinyl windows dual glazed by Millgard Windpws or Aluminum clading wood windows from Pella are better?

I personally like the Pella.. but it's unlikely that there is too much of a difference performance wise between the 2.

I've not hear dof Millgard, but I too like Pella. Actually I prefer Marvin over Pella.

Yep.. Marvin is by far my favorite. Besides being proven on several homes I've built - they're manufactured in one of the coldest climates in the US - Minnesota.. I figure they've got a pretty good proving ground. One of the main plants in the same town that my father grew up in - Warroad, MN
