What do you mean "adjust" ? What is it they are doing ?

I hardly ever install Andersen's but the only adjustment I know of is when you're installing them.

I dont understand what your trying to adjust. Once their in , shouldnt be any adjustment.

Some casement windows have hinge adjustments. On the Windsors we used in our home there is a 7/16 ths lug to adjust under the hinge arms. You can pop off the arm or with a thin 7/16 ths wrench adjust with the arm on. Much easier to adjust with the arm on, especially the top hinge. When the arm is popped off the top hinge you must hang on to the window to prevent it from falling.

mine are new and they have a plastic piece under the bottom hinge and on top of the top hinge. they have different size holes and spacings. i have to raise the sash up an 1/8th.
