Rich,

This site have been invaluable during the past year from the planning stages to building. We contracted the house ourselves and did a lot of work also. I can't tell you how many mornings I was on this forum before heading up to the house.

Here are a few pics of the finished (at least outside) product.

The house is located in Colorado about 40 miles west of Colorado Springs.

And it is snowing believe it or not. :)

How many acres do you have?

We have 4 acres but most of the lots up here are just vacant land so there aren't many neighbors around. We are at 9000ft elevation so the weather can be a little strange but almost always warms up nicely during the day.

Working on a new project. Putting up a wind generator. It is real windy here all the time so I figure I would try this out and see how it works. If the small generator works well I am going to slowly try to convert everything over to wind and solar power. I figure the small generator will power my computer and shop (electronics repair).
