Hi!

I'm 90% done with my shop, 50% left to go. I've built 2 entry doors that swing out from the middle. Each is about 4.5' x 9'. Has 2x4 framing. I've included a pic from the inside and outside.

I could use some suggestions for weather stripping and latching. Was thinking of putting something like a 1x4 around the inside for the outer sides and top. Sorta like you see in the inside pic at the top where I have a piece of osb. Gaps here are ~1/2-3/4".

I could run another length of 1x4 along the inside of the middle edge of one of the doors, and another on the outside of the middle edge of the opposing door. So the door with the 1x4 on the outside would have to be opened first. Gap is ~3/4".

I could attach some type of weather stripping along the bottom edge of both doors, as long as it doesn't get stuck when the doors close. One door has ~1/4" floor-door gap, the other ~1/2".

Or I could put something on the concrete floor. Might want this removable to allow for hosing off the floor.

A gate latch style closure seems reasonable. I want it to able to open from the inside, latch by swinging close, and lockable.

Please let me know what you think :-)
