This is a framing calculator. It has a stair framing calculator, a rafter calculator as well as a feet and inches calculator. Personally I don't care for it - because it allows you to adjust things that just won't work. It also doesn't take into account the tread material so it doesn't subtract it from your bottom cut.
Well anyway I took it upon myself to create an excel worksheet that does take all that into account. Now this calculator uses parameters that I've preset. The code could be different in your area so please check with them first to see minimum tread and riser dimensions allowable in your area.

I should mention - it's nothing pretty. Bare minimum to get some numbers. The yellow boxes are the only ones that are editable and the red boxes give you rise and run dimensions for 2 conditions. The first condition is one riser more than the second condition or vice versa.

Just wanted everyone to know that I updated the stair designer with an image that shows what dimensions are what. Hopefully it works for everyone.
