Our stainless kitchen sink is just three years old and is showing its age already. Can the brushed finish of stainless be brought back to look new agin? Would sandpaper or steel wool work?

Also, the bathroom sink is also showing some scratches. I don't know what the material is. It's pretty much a standard style you see the majority of the time. It's a molded sink that I think is supposed to look like stone with the streaks of lighter color mixed in.

The bath sink looks like cultured marable, not sure how to get scratches out. The s.s. sink you could try a buffing compound or maybe a fine grit paper like croqus or finer. :)
