I just had a roof put on my house. There are numerous places where the shingles look wavey or warped. Is there such a thing? Can shingles warp? There was a close-out on these shingles, so I got a 50 yr for a 30 yr price. I looked around at all of my neighbors homes and they don't have this wavey shingle look, so is it something that will "fix itself" or flatten out over time? Any input would be appreciated.

Most likely a few bundles were stored on top of something that wasn't so flat and they take on that shape. I would think it would eventually flatten out with a little exposure to heat.

This is very common. It will take a few good days of sun before the shingles lay flat. Don't worry at all. It's not a flaw.

Infact this is the most common complaint "Will my shingles always be that wavy?"
