ebb and flow probably.

Time of year, new design etc..
I think this site will always be good but it is just like everything else and has it slow times.

Plus I'm not asking as many stupid questions as I generally do.

Yeah, mostly time of year, people just do less when the weather is likely to be uncooperative.

In my opinion this new format isn't as user friendly.

I like the new format. It updates the threads more often.
It'll get better Dragon.. the new design is coming soon.

No, OddJob, they are there. You have to set each forum manually so that they will show up. Default is '1 day' which leads many to believe that nothing is going on in that forum, since the threads are hidden. Most 'n00bs' never see the old threads.
Edit: I just discovered that if you delve deeply enough into the User CP you can change it there.
Default Thread Age Cut Off. Change it from Default.
Rich, you might want to see if there is an adminsistrative setting that will change that. It is annoying. Most new people will never realize that a forum is active.

Yep, I found it there. But I guess I'm not a noob to forums anymore!
Rich can probably change this in the administrator controls to vBulletin. However, since he is upgrading to a new template, I suspect he may be upgrading to a new version of vB. So he'll probably change it there.
Rich, how's the upgrade going? The "coming soon" posts are making us anxious to see the new product :!::!:

Cole did you happen to check out any of my recent baffoonery on the Floor and Wall Framing thread? Its the beam spans thread. Does any of that crap make sense to you?
No I have been super busy, I will check it right now.

Much appreciated. I think it will work. But then again I'm generally wrong.
