I'm currently trying to sheath the roof of a 3 car garage with a 9/12 pitch.
I've sucessfully pushed 3 rows of OSB up on the roof from the ground with a ladder but I just can't get my footing to get beyond that. Is there a secret to SAFELY put OSB on a roof?

Thanks,
Peter

Nail 2x4's on the sheathing every few feet up the roof. Make a 2x4 platform to stack your sheets in one place. Also have a person on the roof with a rope around the sheets. You push and he pulls and place them on your platform then you can drag them over to where you need them. The 2x4's you have scabbed onto the roof make it a lot easier. You can also get metal brackets that you nail onto the roof and you can put a 2x10 or 2x12 on the brackets for a real nice standing place. These brackets only hook onto nails and when you need to move the brackets you just slide the bracket off the nails, drive those nails home, and put in more nail a few feet higher up and place your bracket on the and start again. These brackets are used for shingling and are designed to go under shingles. A bit of a trick but when you buy the brackets some instruction come with it
