This is what the front of my house looks like:

http://www.leepa.org/dotnet/Photo/Photo.aspx?Id=281660&Width=640

Looking at the picture from Right to Left, I'm wanting to tear down everything from the first drop roof over to the end of the house. It's the part that looks like an addition. Total square footage to be demo'ed is around 1200sqft. None of this is area is currently under air as in connected to the central a/c. Some is a screened back porch, some is the workshop next to the carport, the carport, the space with the big jalosie windows next to the carport, there is a 29x14 room behind the carport and workshop.

So my question:

Does anyone have any idea how much it might cost to have this space torn down? I'm going to be contacting some demo company's here soon but i'd like to have an idea.

A question for you:

The left Here? Sorry about that. The right Here? is a hip. Also, it's all wood frame construction. Everything from the change in roof lines over is on a slab.

So you want to demo everything from the right "Here" to the left of it?

lol, sorry I am confused.

If you take out the center what's going to hold up the two ends?:p

From which HERE, the left one or right one? I just don't understand.
The right HERE line and everything to the right of it?

Ok, I'll shut up now.

LOL. This is awesome. Anyone just coming on to this would think we were retards. Well...at least me.

I should have explained better.

See where the carport is? The carport and the rooms on either side of it are to be demo'd. Thats the room with black shutters and the room with the two long vertical windows. That area is the drop roof i'm talking about.

Basically everything from the black X over the here? (courtesy of Cole) to the left towards the truck in the carport.

Don't forget to move the truck first.

I would say 7 dumpsters, 50 pounds of meat, and one high school football team, 50 blades and 2 sawzalls would do it.

This is nuts. Can't pick the place up and can't knock it down.

Ok, ok, I'll stop now.

lol...gotta be sarcastic huh?

I'm paying someone else to demo it. I'll probably demo some of it just to disconnect the electrical stuff. Demoing the whole thing myself would take far to much time.

The truck isn't mine by the way. This picture is off of Lee County property appraiser's web page. It's an older picture. The truck belongs to the previous owner.

The area is nice. It's full of older houses like mine that were built right after WWII. They all need a ton of work though and are way over priced because of location.

So you want it all gone?

Demo, Haul away?

Yeah, hauled away as well. I'd don't want to have to have 7 dumpsters delivered and jack hammer an old slab and toss it into a dumpster.
