Beam sizing

Where can I find a Beam sizing chart for headers? Or...how can I calc header sizes? Want to double check my plans.

Your building code should have a header sizing chart which is only approximate. There are so many variables that it is usually easier to calculate it yourself. If you do it on an excel spreadsheet you can reuse it and check the deflection as well.
