I noticed a thread on labour bids for " d " logs and I realize that few have encountered log.

I have recieved plans for 8" toungue and groove logs to erect only.

Does anyone have experience with these and the time required to erect about 800 sq. feet of first floor?

Any place to discuss log construction online?

Not knowing what your labor costs are I'll give you some production rates.
Sill Log - .05 MH / LF
Log Courses - .033 MH / LF average
These numbers are based on true log construction.. D Logs will run about 25-40% fewer manhours. Should give you a ballpark cost.
