Step by step for image uploading. First some rules on images.
1. If it's a picture then try and reduce the size to less than 700 pixels wide. This will allow it to show up inside the existing limits of the size without resizing the whole site.
2. If the image is all text - don't do it. Type the relevant text into the post and quote the source.
3. If the image is of you at the lake being posted to a question about cabins - don't do it.
Now for uploading.
1. Hit "Post Reply" - you can't use this in the quick reply at the bottom of each post. You must hit the "Post Reply" button.
2. Now you will see the Add an Attachment section below where you are typing. (See attachment).
3. Where it says Filename then a place to enter some text and then "Browse".
4. Click "Browse"
5. It will popup a window which acts just like windows explorer or similar products. Go to where your image is at - click the name of the image or document - click "Open".
6. Back to the posting page - where it says "File Comment" you can add some text in there for a quick comment regarding the image.
7. The "Add Attachment" button allows you to add another attachment to the post (up to 3 total).
8. Click on "Submit" at the very bottom of the page.
