Drip edge installation

The roofers installed the drip edge over the top of the felt on the roof. Is this the proper method? The inspector said it should have been under the felt but the construction superintendent said it doesn't matter.

Any opinions????

Yup. . . Shoulda been under. Get the inspector to lean on the super.

I'd ask the super if he tucks his jeans into his boots when it's raining. Then I'd double-check the flashing around the windows.
