My HVAC contractor recommends a Burnham MPO direct vent oil fired boiler for the heating sytem in a new house I am having built. IT does not need a chimney and it is not a power vent. Does anybody have an opinion on this type of system? I would very much appreciate your experience with this type of system.

Here you go. Read the section on venting and vent termination. Make sure he does it right.

Have him show you his load calculations and get the right size boiler.
