Improveit Windows - Any comments on company?

Hello -

We are in the process of replacing all of our windows and are considering using the compnay Improveit in Columbus Ohio. We were wondering if anyone had any experience with them or know of people that have used them. Othe names they go by are Ohio Energy, Ohio Energy Home improvements and Ohio Energy Contractors Corporation. They are quoting us $7000 for 5 double hung and 2 slide windows and promising us 40% energy savings. Is this too good to be true? Their website is www.improveitusa.com.

Any help would be appreciated.

They say 40% savings? Are they replacing all windows in the house or just a select few? A typical window from Pella is going to run you around $8-900 depending on size.
As far as Improveit windows I have no idea about them. Just trying to give you a basis of comparison.

They are replacing all of them. There main sales pitch is the "SolarGold Spacer." The spacer between the glass is a 100%non conductive spacer - no metal - that prevents moisture and the temp deifference between the center of the glass and the frame. They also push that the frame is fusion welded and insulated. Are most other frames - Thermal guard,Pella - insulated? ANd their last bit is Solar Tech glass - "The only glass proven to transmit Free Solar Energy in the winter and keep heat out during the summer. Any thoughts?

Are Pella windows 8-900 installed?

$8-900 not installed. These are for aluminum exterior cladded w/ argon and Low-E films, architectural series.
