Anyone have an opinion on Armstrong Flooring? I have samples of a few floors and have kid tested them. Armstrong by far held up and appears to be the easiest/tightest holding floors.
Anyone have an opinion?
Any of the manufacturers like Armstrong, Bruce, Pergo for that matter are good choices.

Yes, Armstrong makes laminate flooring as well as sheet vinyl and vinyl tiles. They also still make ceiling tiles and other products too. They've been hurt by asbestos litigation the past few years, but they are rebounding nicely.
Armstrong is just one of the big 3 -- Mannington and Congoleum are the other 2. There's also lesser players (in the American market) in Domco and Tarkett. Think of flooring manufacturers much like auto manufacturers. They have a lot of different models that are targeted to different market segments and incomes. You'll find the Cadillacs and the Vegas within each.
Armstrong laminates are a very good quality floor. They also make a re-branded floor for some of the biggest retailers like Home Depot and Lowes, but these are of inferior quality and are marketed to price shoppers. I always recommend buying the best you can afford and brand names are what you should be looking at. Of course, with the advertising campaigns some of the big boxes are on, it's hard to tell what a brand name is as opposed to a rebranded product. If you can't find the brand anywhere else but that store, it's not what you should be looking at.
These are just my opinions. But I have developed them over 33 years in the flooring business.
