Hello all

I was approved for a construction loan, I'll just say over $100,000 but I don't want to actually obtain all of the loan amount. My question is, if circumstances are in my favor as far as available land (which seems to be the issue), is it realistic to build a home for lets say around $120,000?

Please help

Of course, it is.

Where are you from?

You get what you pay for.

Building a home is one of the biggest investments, for both time and money, that most people ever make in their lifetime. A number of factors play into the process, from buying land, to choosing a floor plan, to obtaining a loan, to finding contracts, to dealing with a nagging wife.

With all those things in mind, I think your question could best be answered if you provided more information.

-Where do you live (city/state)?

-What are your goals for the $120,000 house?

-How much is land going to cost?

-What are your intentions for the house long term?

-Etc.
