I'm back. I finally got a new job. I'll be starting Jan 2. While I won't be as active during the days, I'll try to keep up.

Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks. I've missed all of you guys here, too. But where are the silly jokes and punns? I haven't seen any posted recently?

Good for you Dave!

I'm trying to settle into a full time day job. It's tough working 534 miles away from the family. This is my last weekend home for some time.

I missed something Richard. Why are you working 534 miles from home?

First offer I got in three years that would support a family. Nick is going to Purdue in the fall, Wife is putting the house up for sale, and I've started house hunting.

It sure is pretty down here. :) I'm still keeping HVAC Consulting, Inc.

Kingsport, TN bound for Richard.

I'm jealous.

Nope, Fayetteville TN! 33.3 miles north of the Best Buy in Huntsville AL. Between putting in a full time day job and Consulting in the evenings I don't know when I'll get the house shopping done. But I'm a happy camper so far!:-D

Huntsville is actually one of the places I want to move too. To bad my wife is in a family business down here. She's kinda tied to it in a big way. I've never looked at Fayetteville.

Fayetteville is about 7800. The entire county only has one high school. I get off a 4:30 and all the banks are already closed! Haven't been able to get anything done, everything closes between 4:00 and 5:00, except the WalMart.

I think it will be a nice place to live. It gets cold down here but nothing like up north.

Try assist2sell for online house searching. I think the one you want is buyandsellnashville.com

Use the mls search engine. I just checked it out and saw a couple of houses i'd move into in a heart beat. It's amazing how much house you can get for your money up in that area.

I've even found the house in Nasheville that i'd buy if I was able to pack my wife up and move up there.

Hey Don, I'm still doing computer work. Now I'm work for an IT consulting firm that delivers technology solutions. I'm still doing some application development (computer programming plus all the other work that goes along with it) but soon will be learning some new techy software and I'll help companies implement that software.
