Another Trim ?

Trim is installed and I need to paint it and paint the wall.

It is easier for me to cut in the wall to the trim, so I was going to paint the trim first with a semi gloss and then paint the wall with a flat. Is it a problem if I am sloppy while painting the trim and the semi gloss gets on the wall and then I paint over it with a flat? Will the semi gloss be hard to cover with a flat paint? Will the wall still be slightly shinny where it once had a semi gloss, but is now covered with the flat paint?

No the semi-gloss will not shine through, just make sure you cover it with two coats.

Back when I was starting as a service tech, I once painted half of a wall with semi that was supposed to be flat. I was wondering why it was taking so long to dry and it took me about a half hour to realize it was dry but it was gloss. Covered it with flat and no one ever knew the difference. Live and learn lol.
