I was on a roof today with a home owner. He has a bad mold issue but that's another story. The roof was pretty flat, because the English Tudor was dormered out. I was sitting on the 12/12 part while the customer was standing on the 2/12 dormer. I was inspecting something on the side of the dormer as I sit next to a chimney.

The customer asks me "Is our chimney supposed to be this wobbly?" He is rocking the brick chimney which is 3 bricks x 3 bricks x 33 bricks high.

I freaked out! I said "Ahh don't do that!" And scrambled to the other side of the roof as fast as I could. LOL I thought the thing was gonna fall on me. He was chuckling and said "I take that as a no."

I would pay good money to see you scrambling across a 12/12 trying to outrun a 33' foot brick chimney!

It's not 33' high. each brick is about 3-4" (I forgot exactly). Anyways it was a scary yet humurous incident.
