We are having a footer put in & then the slab on top of it & they are calling this a floating slab as it is not poured at same time as the footer. Today they poured our footer 18" wide. The house exterior walls will set on the inside of that 18" footer. Should the exterior walls set on the center of the footer, the inside of the footer, the outside of the footer or does it matter?
P.S. They are going to form up the slab & plumb it tomorrow. They would like to pour the slab in two days (5/16). Please let me know as soon as you can or I will be stuck with what they do (right or wrong).
