Hiya - we are attempting to cover a seam where two wallboards come together at a 45 degree corner. Is there any trim out there that's as simple as an outside corner moulding, but at 45 degrees instead of 90? We can't find anything. I am sure I could make something but I'd rather not spend the time if I can buy it.

Thanks

You could check Woodcraft and Rockler and local lumberyards. However, it may be easier to grab some basemold and rip it thru the tablesaw beveled to 45. Then glue n nail em.

I have installed some cabinet trim that meets this profile that was provided by Schuler Cabinets and purchased through Lowe's. I expect it was quite expensive through them. You could go to your local millwork company and have them run a custom profile for you. That will cost you plenty too, for the setup. You may get lucky and find they have a stock profile that will work for you. depending on the paneling finish and the number of corners you have, I would probably mitre two pieces together to make the trim. You may even find a good profile that you can just butt together at the joint to look good.

I actually have the angle wrong. Its 135 ie __/ not > that I needed. Anyway, I figured out how to craft something, using some 8'x1" stuff we had lying around. With a few careful passes on the table saw I can make what we need. It worked when I was playing around, hopefully it'll look good when done.
