Sheeting for Porch truss transition from main structure

My question has to do with using a mono truss with an extended heal to make a porch with a 3/12 pitch transition into the 10/12 roof of the main structure. Would it be best to sheet the 10/12 roof all the way to the rafter tail and then connect the mono with the extended heal over the sheeting or would it be best to attach the mono's heal directly to the 10/12 truss and then sheet over the transition area. Hope this question is clear, I have also tried to include a picture

I would sheet over the transition area. It won't be the main method for roof drainage but will be a backup method if the roofing, and undersheeting (waterproofing) fails.
