Hi I'm Ken. A lifer in the trade. My father was a remodeling contractor in Los Angeles. I've got 30 years in this short and misguided career. Now I do a construction radio show on a local station. I was never hungry enough for the license. Maybe because I watched my dad work his butt off and thought the trade off wasn't worth it. I have, however, enjoyed the craft and still enjoy the ringing of the school bell for those smart enough to know you can't take a two hour seminar at a big box store and think you can do it right. Ive seen many changes over the years. You cant just build a house and turn over the keys. And the subtle conditioning of entities who want you to think they are really helping you, are really just trying to sell you something. I always share with folks the honesty in relationships. If you are going to build something, have the integrity to let the contractor know just how much you know; instead of B.S.ing him into believing you can do more than you know. If people would realize how much reciprocation they would receive through descent relationships, the better the project outcome would be. I'm looking forward to learning from people in the rooms, and to share my knowledge, for mutual benefits. Thanks for having me. Ken
