Hi, I am trying to figure out the best way to put trim around the windows after 1/4 " paneling is installed. In other words the paneling goes up the wall to 42" around the entire room, but the windows are 24" above the floor. I can notch the sills so the paneling slips behind them but what do I do with the trim legs of the windows? I guess my options are to either notch 1/4" of the legs and install over the paneling or install the legs and then cut the paneling to fit up to them. No trim pieces to cover up any mistakes. Any ideas? Thanks, Nick
