the slab on our new home (it's a regular cookie cutter home) was poured 2 days ago... we visited the site and noticed that the area for all the rooms seems pretty small!! like a room's dimension is supposedly 10x10 (based on the builder's floor plan and model home) but when we checked (like standing on actual area) the room seems like it's 8x8!! please tell me that this is the case because the walls/framings are not up yet... or that we didn't have our tape measure to actually 'measure' the room... should we air our concerns to the builder now or are we just panicking for nothing? btw, we live in the dallas/fort worth area...thx..

I would do a walk through with the builder and the plan. Take your tape measure with you and tape off a few rooms. Make a show of looking at the plans and saying "Ok - this room should be ..hmm.. let's see here.. 10'x10'." Measure it and then let the contractor respond if there any discrepancies.
