Hi,
Newbie here looking for some advice.
I retired to the Philippines where the temp hovers high and rain season brings much rain. (but there are nice things here too!)
I am currently building a house, constructed of concrete/hollow blocks.
THe roof will be flat concrete slab, so that I can use it as a roof deck to enjoy the scorching sun.
Any recommendation on how to waterproof the roof, so that it is easiest, cheapest and reliable?
I have been reading up on membrane and other types, but not only is the availability is lacking here, prices are much higher (import duties). And I don't like the tar option.
I have been considering outdoor floor tiles (with grout), so that I have option to add 2nd floor in the future.
