Ballpark figure

Does anybody have a rough idea on the price of a 28 ft roof truss with a 12/12 pitch? I'm trying to quickly figure the material cost of a garage.

I have some 30ft trusses being delivered tomorrow, but they are only a 5/12 pitch. They will have a 2x6 bottom chord to accomodate the storage area in the truss. The overhangs are 2ft, and there are 21 total (19 regular, and 2 gable). The total cost at Home Depot was $1,972 delivered. Home Depot or any truss company will give you an instant quote over the phone....at least around here they will.

Those will be really tall trusses (at least 14') and I'm sure there will be an extra charge for delivery as I'm sure they will require an escort or special DOT permit.

Thanks for your reply. I just got a quote for 21 trusses. 2 gable ends and 19 regular with rafter overhangs. $2250.00 delivered. thanks again ,Tony
