What is the length of an 8' precut board?

92-5/8" or 92-1/4" - you can find them both lengths.
Add 3 plates (2 top and 1 bottom) you get 96-3/4" - 97-1/8" - perfect for 2 rows of 4' drywall or 1 piece run vertical and also accounts for a 5/8" drywall ceiling. I like the 92-5/8" which allows for a small gap for lifting at the bottom - and they are more readily available.
