I have to replace some wood on what is going to be a very nice shed when finished. The eves (sp?) are all eaten up from squirrels. So, I'm replacing and painting the wood. Do I need treated wood or not? I will be priming and painting the exterior surfaces. I know I will need to wait a couple days with the wood in the sun if I get treated, I was hoping someone would know.

Eaves, probably the fascia's?
They don't need to be treated, they are often a decay resistant wood though, cedar is very common. Treated won't stop squirrels or even carpenter bees (I have treated fascias and carpenter bees), they don't ingest the wood.

well thank you for responding. I'm going to go price the wood tonight. Cedar looks kind of like what's up there. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
