Hey there,
First up, let me start by saying I have in no way any mechanical/construction skill sets even close to what should be had toward this idea/project of mine.
What i am wanting to do is build a mini-waterfall down at the creek which is behind my house about a half mile down. The creek is beautiful and has some spots that hook in with holes at the bank where something like this could be built (see my drawing below of what i'm trying to do)
my only problem is materials and mechanics/logicistics. Would i need a motor to suction enough water into the hose/pipe to make a constant waterfall? where would the motor go to be safe from vandalism or weather? materials? firehose or hard pipe? need it be weatersafe and built into the ground well too i would think...
or perhaps there is a cheaper way to suction water to create a waterfall without having to use electricity? a natural way??
any einsteins..i need your help!
