more work on the basement

Here is my renerings of what the finished product will look like in the "media/bedroom". In the wall that is removed there is a opening for a set of french doors. at first we are not going to put them in, but it will be roughed out for the door. Behind the other doorway next to the window that is a closet behind.

Very nice, what was used to make these pictures?

Its a mechanical design software called Solidworks.

Im a mechanical designer by trade. So I used this software to design my basement. I draw each 2 x 4 as how it would look in person, that way when i go and buy them i know exactly how many to get with very little left over.

It will let me do a cut list, and then I will do a simple layout with the dimensions, cut it all, nail together and lift into place.

Here is my updated renderings and floor plan of the entire area. I have most of the framing done so i will get pics of that sometime soon.
